EASY

An astronaut’s boots of weight 120 N on Earth is measured again when they are brought to the Moon’s surface. What is the weight of the boots on the Moon? Take the g of the Earth as 10 N/kg and the g of the Moon as 1.6 N/kg.
Answer

MEDIUM

Convert the following quantities:
a) The density of a substance is 1.3 kg/m³. Convert the density to g/cm³.
b) An object has a density of 0.25 g/cm³. What is its density in kg/m³?
Answer

HARD

The measuring cylinder contains 45 cm³ of water as shown in diagram A. When a metal ring of 2 N is submerged completely below the water surface, the reading goes up to 70 cm³ as shown in diagram B. Calculate the density of the metal ring in g/cm³.
