STEP 2: PHYSICS ACADEMY TERMS AND CONDITIONS
1. Once I registered online, is my seat confirmed?
Our staff will be in contact with you to confirm your details and a payment invoice will be emailed to you. If the slot preferred is fully subscribed, we will contact you via email / phone call to discuss for possible alternative slot.
Once enrolled as our student (weekly lessons / workshops), you’ll be automatically entitled to a seat in subsequent term. There is no need to register again for the new term.
2. How much is the deposit and registration fee.
We do not collect deposit, however there is a Registration Fee: $50, payable upon registration.
Material Fee: Waived for Term Payment, $30 per month for Monthly Payment
Students who sign up during the last 4 weeks of the current term will need to pay the next term fee together with the current term fee.
Registration fee, material fee and course fee are NON-REFUNDABLE.
3. When is the due date for payment of tuition fees?
Fees are collected on termly basis and are due 4 weeks before the start of the term. Parents of respective student will receive invoice through email before the due date. Lessons can only commence upon full payment of the term fee.
4. What is the frequency of lessons?
Lessons are conducted on weekly basis. During school holidays or near major exams, there will be additional lessons to prepare students for upcoming exam. All lessons scheduled are compulsory and are part of Physics Academy programme. Students are not allowed to miss any lesson unless approved by the Principle.
5. If I am unable to attend certain lessons, will I be able to attend make-up lessons?
If you couldn’t attend a particular lesson, you may opt to attend similar lesson within the same week by joining other groups in all our branches. If this is not possible, you may request to access the recorded lesson after the live lessons via the student portal. You may request for all the practices / worked solutions / notes on the lessons that you’ve missed at the Admin counter. There is strictly NO REFUND of fees for lessons missed.
6. What is the procedure for withdrawal?
Students need to give 1-month advanced notice of withdrawal. Students who wish to rejoin after withdrawal must pay the registration fee again and the tuition fee will be subjected to the prevailing rate.
CONFIDENTIALITY All materials, including notes, worksheet, video are copyrighted and strictly for personal use and NOT for sharing or sale by any means. Voice and video recording is strictly not allowed during lesson or during online access. Legal action will be taken against any students who violate this copyright.
PERSONAL DATA PROTECTION I hereby give clear and unambiguous consent for the Centre to collect, use and disclose my personal data in accordance with the Personal Data Protection Act.
TEACHER The Centre reserves the right to change the teacher at its own discretion.
LESSONS The Centre reserves the right to postpone or reschedule any lessons due to any circumstances.
MISCONDUCT The Centre shall not be required to provide services to abusive students or parents and shall be entitled to terminate the contract without refund upon the occurrence of such incidents.
Physics Academy reserves the right to change the Rules & Regulations without notice. Reasonable Steps will be taken to inform all parents and students of such changes. These Rules & Regulations shall be governed by laws of Singapore
